What is Shell V-Power?

Shell V-Power is a 98 octane premium unleaded fuel. Developed with Ferrari, it is designed to help enhance everyday driving performance and responsiveness.

Shell V-Power contains powerful cleaning technology, developed to help enhance everyday driving performance and responsiveness. These cleaning components are designed to prevent the build up of power-robbing inlet valve deposits and to help remove those which may have been left behind by other fuels.

Enhances power delivery.

Shell V-Power also contains Friction Modification Technology (FMT), whose special components are designed to coat the cylinder wall. Friction reduction between the cylinder wall and the piston inside the engine helps to increase the total energy delivered to the wheels, to aid overall driving performance.

The Fuel Developed With Ferrari.

Shell V-Power has been formulated by the same Shell scientists who also develop Ferrari's Formula One race fuels. What they learn from the track, they use to develop Shell V-Power fuel for road cars, to help power and protect them worldwide.

Which vehicles can use Shell V-Power?

Shell V-Power can be used in any car designed to run on unleaded petrol (for pre-1986 cars, please check with your car manufacturer). Shell V-Power is formulated to help remove existing deposits that other fuels may have left behind, to help new engines run smoothly for longer, and to help rejuvenate older engines. Most motorbikes that run on unleaded petrol will also be able to use Shell V-Power. Its unique formulation can help protect the engine, and enhance responsiveness. Although Shell V-Power is compatible with most bikes, please check with your manufacturer.

If you live in WA, Tasmania or the Northern Territory, Shell Premium Unleaded (95 octane) is a great choice if you prefer to use a higher octane fuel in your car.
