Questions and Answers

1. What is Coles Express?
Coles Express service stations offer fuel and convenience items. Selected stores also offer Car Washes, ATM, phone and fax facilities, café style menus, take away food, and ‘Touch’ Information Kiosks.

We also have eight non-fuel stores for your convenience shopping needs.

2. Where is my nearest Coles Express outlet?
Coles Express stores are located in over 620 convenient locations around Australia. Use our location finder to find your nearest Coles Express outlet.

3. How do I get a fuel discount receipt?
Just spend the advertised qualifying amount in one transaction at Coles or BI-LO Supermarkets, Liquorland, Liquorland Express, Coles Central or Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket stores or online at Coles Online or ShopFast to receive a fuel discount receipt or voucher. Not available in conjunction with Shell Card, Fleet Card, Motor Charge or Motor Pass purchases. Not all brands operate Australia wide. 4. How do I redeem my fuel discount receipt?
Just take it into a Coles Express Service Station and you will receive a discount off the pump price. Fuel discount receipt or voucher cannot be used with Shell Card, Fleet Card, Motor Charge or Motor Pass. Find out about our fuel discount offer. *Terms and Conditions apply.

5. Where can I redeem my fuel discount receipt?
You can redeem your fuel discount receipt at any one of over 620 Coles Express service stations located around Australia. Fuel discount receipts cannot be used with Shell Card, Fleet Card, Motor Charge or Motor Pass. *Terms and Conditions apply.

6. Why is the Shell logo on the Coles Express signage?
The Shell ‘Pecten’ features on Coles Express signage and advertising, as a reminder to our customers that whenever they fill their fuel tanks at Coles Express, they have a choice of quality Shell fuels available to them.

7. Can I obtain a discount from any Shell Service Station?
No. Not all ‘Shell’ service stations are Coles Express service stations. There are about 800 Shell service stations nationally that will not redeem the fuel discount receipt for Liquorland, Coles, Coles Central, BI-LO, Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket, Coles Online and ShopFast customers.

Coles Express will have prominent signage including the discount offer at the front of each store. You can view the new Coles Express signage on our home page. Find your nearest Coles Express outlet.

8. Can I buy a Coles Express Gift Card?
Coles Express Gift Cards are available for purchase at most Coles Supermarkets. Gift Cards can be loaded with any amount between $5 and $500. Corporate customers can visit giftcards.com.au/corporate to download a Gift Card Order Form or contact Coles Group and Myer Corporate Services on 1300 725 159. At present, Coles Express Gift Cards are not available for purchase at Coles Express service stations.

9. Can I buy Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Racing at Coles Express?
Yes. Coles Express outlets in Victoria, New South Wales, ACT and Queensland sell the premium grade unleaded fuel, Shell V-Power; with selected outlets within these regions selling the "super-premium" fuel, V-Power Racing. Visit the Shell Fuels web site for full details of fuel locations and to learn about the benefits of using Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Racing, exclusive to Coles Express in Victoria, New South Wales, ACT and Queensland.

10. How much will I save on fuel at Coles Express?
You will save on the pump price of quality fuel when you present your fuel discount receipt. The discount you receive is printed on the receipt.

11. Will I save on fuels other than petrol?
Yes. You will save on all fuel purchases up to 150 litres at Coles Express including Shell V-Power, Shell V-Power Racing, Diesel, Shell AutoGas and Unleaded.

12. Can I use my FlyBuys card at Coles Express?
Yes. You collect 2 standard FlyBuys points for every $5* you spend at Coles Express when you present your FlyBuys card. When you link your FlyBuys card to your Coles Group Source MasterCard using the FlyBuys EXTRA FAST option, you could earn up to 7 points for every $5 you spend at Coles Express! Earn even more points by taking advantage of our FlyBuys bonus offers available throughout the year.

13. Can I use the new Coles Group Source MasterCard at Coles Express?
Yes. Coles Express welcomes customers with the new Coles Group Source MasterCard.

14. Can I use my Coles Group Card™ at Coles Express?
No. Coles Group Card™ is not accepted at Coles Express outlets. We do however, accept all other major credit cards, including the Coles Group Source MasterCard.

15. Which credit cards does Coles Express accept?
Coles Express accepts all major credit cards including Coles Group Source™ MasterCard®, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Card, American Express. We do not accept Coles Group Card™, Coles Group Gift Vouchers, or cheques.

16. Which major fuel cards does Coles Express accept
Coles Express accepts Shell card, Motor Pass*, Motor Charge* and Fleet cards.

*A $1 surcharge applies to all purchases when using Motor Pass and Motor Charge cards.

17. Can I still buy Shell brand car, motorcycle, and boat care products from Coles Express?
Yes. You can still buy the Shell range of products from Coles Express including Shell Helix, Advance, and Nautilus.

18. Can I use my Coles Group staff discount card at Coles Express outlets?
No. Staff discount cards are not accepted at Coles Express for fuel or other purchases.
